Welcome to the Town of Orangeville website. We hope to give our residents and visitors access to information about our Town

Orangeville was formed in 1816 and is a rural town situated centrally in the county. Historically, it has been a farming community and was once the largest cheese producer in the region. The name 'Orangeville' is believed to originate from early settlers who journeyed from Orange County, New York. We are proud of our agricultural heritage and aim to support local farmers.
